Our Staff
Dr. Rex Diaz. - Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, FACFAS.
A Hampton Roads native, Dr. Diaz attended Oscar F. Smith High School in Chesapeake, Virginia. He earned his B.S. in Biology from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Following that, Dr. Diaz attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York, New York, recieving his Doctorate degree in Podiatric Medicine.

- Virginia Podiatric Medical Association
- Hampton Roads Podiatric Medical Association
- Young Filipino American Professionals of Hampton Roads
When Rex is not at the office caring for his patients, he can be found spending time with his 2 sons at his home in Chesapeake. Rex is also actively involved in the Filipino Community and volunteers at various medical clinics in Chesapeake and Norfolk. Rex's hobbies include softball, poker and golf.
Marie Giancarlo - Practice Manager
Currently a resident of Virginia beach, Marie has lived all over the United States and before becoming Practice Manager at Advanced Podiatry of Hampton Roads, she worked in the Information Technology field. Marie spends most of her waking hours at the office or with her 3 children who love to keep mom busy! She is also highly involved in the Filipino Community.
When time permits Marie also enjoys reading, traveling and photography.
Michele Carrizales - Reception
Michele has worn several hats over the years, including the title of "Corporate Event Planner" and "Marketing Specialist". When she's not hard at work at Advanced Podiatry, Michele enjoys spending time at home in Virginia Beach with her husband, two daughters and their dog Jed Michael.
